Press Street Gardens approached us wanting an economical and multi-purpose shade structure that could double as a serving structure for events and for everyday garden prep. With this in mind, the team set forth on designing multiple forms and landed on one that could grow in the future if need be. studio^RISE worked in conjunction with Press Street Gardens, the NOCCA Foundation, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans and Urbanscapes NOLA to see this project to completion.
